After that, you can purchase the data package in Mobile App AIRSIM ROAM. Simply select the destination, data package, voice package, effective date, and then pay by credit cards. Once you arrive at the destination, the data package will be effective immediately.
C.
If you cannot find the corresponding data package days that fits your travel period, we suggest you to select a data package with longer period. So that your user experience will not be affected by the time difference of different countries.
D.
You can top up your AIRSIM by credit cards. Then you can purchase the data package with the balance in your AIRSIM account.

Welcome to Use AIRSIM
A.
Upon arrival of your destination, insert your AIRSIM into the mobile phone (For Dual SIM handset users, please insert AIRSIM into SIM Slot 1 then make sure the data service is assigned to SIM 1).
B.
Please switch on the Data Service and Data Roaming in your mobile phone (For Dual SIM handset users, if you have inserted 2 SIM cards, please check and confirm the data roaming function and data service are assigned to AIRSIM).
C.
Please wait for about 3 minutes, some notices will be popped up. The phone should display the signal and the Carrier Name. You can use the internet service. If you cannot have access to the internet, please restart the mobile phone, and switch on / off flight mode once.
D.
APN will be set automatically in most Asia regions. If you cannot access the internet, please check if the APN is correctly set (especially for Android devices). Manual APN setup may be required in some destinations such as Europe. Please click the links below for the APN & Carrier list and the setup procedures.
E.
If the connection fails, it may be due to the poor coverage at the current location, please restart the mobile phone at other location.
F.
When you travel across the border to another country, you may need to restart the mobile phone twice for some mobile phone models.
G.
For some mobile phone models, they cannot search and select the network automatically, you need to select the Carrier network manually. Please click the links below for the APN & Carrier list and the setup procedures.
H.
If you still cannot use the data service, please restart the mobile phone, and switch on / off flight mode once.
I.
If you cannot connect to the 4G network (if applicable), please go to setup, in mobile network, select 3G and wait for about 10 seconds, then switch back to 4G network.
J.
If the mobile phone cannot connect to the network, please try to take out the SIM card and insert again. The SIM slots in some dual SIM handset support different frequency bands, please insert AIRSIM into another SIM Slot and try again.
K.
After using AIRSIM or switch to other SIM card, please remember to turn off data roaming function, in order to avoid unnecessary roaming charges.
Trouble Shooting
If you cannot connect to the network, please go through and check the following possible reasons:
A.
Is the data package valid? If not, please visit AIRSIM ROAM to buy the data package you need.
B.
Is the Mobile Data / Roaming in your mobile phone is switched on? If not, please switch on both.
C.
Is the APN setup correct? Manual APN setup may be required in some destinations such as Vietnam / Indonesia is ppcom, Egypt is mobiledata, please check the APN and Carrier list.
D.
If you are an iPhone user, is there any description profile installed? iPhone user please go to Settings > General and check if any description profile installed. If so, please remove it as it affects the auto APN function.
E.
Is the Network Carrier correctly selected? Manual selection of carrier is required for some mobile phone models, please check the APN and Carrier list.
F.
Is it the problem of signal reception? It could be poor signal reception due to the location, please try to restart the mobile phone at other location.
G.
If you still cannot use the data service, please restart the mobile phone, and switch on / off flight mode once.
H.
If you cannot connect to the 4G network (if applicable), please go to setup, in mobile network, select 3G and wait for about 10 seconds, then switch back to 4G network.
